ENERGY ADVISOR

Essential Job Tasks

• Implements and promotes Santee Cooper energy efficiency programs - Smart Energy Homes program and the Smart Energy Loan Program - to residential customers in order to obtain energy savings.
• Attends professional and Santee Cooper customer events.
• Builds and manages relationships with Trade Allies and professional affiliations.
• Provides guidance to less senior Energy Advisors and solve straightforward problems with moderate guidance.
• Conducts air infiltration tests and air flow analysis-blower door/flow hood with limited direction.
• Answers customer questions about rates and energy efficiency measures.
• Offers informal guidance to less senior EA's in the performance of the job duties.
• Conducts and reviews design analysis on Manual J load calculations and other straightforward assignments.

Position Requirements

• Energy Advisor I: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or an equivalent degree with a strong math or science background. Must be "customer-focused" and demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Energy Advisor II: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or an equivalent degree with a strong math or science background + 2 years experience. Must be "customer-focused" and demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Energy Advisor III: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or an equivalent degree with a strong math or science background + 5 years experience. Must be "customer-focused" and demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Compensation Information

• Energy Advisor I: $54,470 - $68,070 (min. - mid.)
• Energy Advisor II: $67,720 - $84,640 (min. - mid.)
• Energy Advisor III: $84,180 - $105,210 (min. - mid.)
