Energy Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Energy Advisor. This is a hybrid position supporting two programs: the Recycling Appliance Program and the installation of energy-efficient equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pick up refrigerators from customers' homes
• Provide individualized and ongoing assistance to property owners and contractors to convert projects according to contract compliance
• Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specification
• Rebate processing, data entry, and QA/QC support
• Record and provide to program staff customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements

Requirements

• Technical and/or sales and/or customer service experience preferred
• A high school diploma or GED required
• At least 21 years of age
• A valid Driver's License

Qualifications

• Ability to work in-person in multiple homes per day
• Lifting heavy refrigerators using dollies, team lifts, or other methods
• Work in all climates
• Bending, crouching, kneeling

Pay

$17.75 - $25.05 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a hybrid position with daily travel within the region based in Michigan City, Indiana.
