Energetic Babysitter for Young Children

About the role

We are seeking a warm, engaging, and experienced babysitter to care for our 3‑ and 4‑year‑old children near Elmington Park in Nashville on Monday, September 21, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. While I will be fasting and my husband will be traveling, the sitter will keep the children happy, active, and entertained throughout the day, working alongside our House Manager with a focus on screen‑free fun.

Responsibilities

• Engage the children with screen‑free activities such as outdoor play, arts and crafts, games, and imaginative play.
• Keep the kids happy, active, and entertained.
• Work alongside the House Manager, focusing primarily on the children’s engagement.
• Tailor activities to the 4‑year‑old’s interest in princesses and creative projects and the 3‑year‑old’s love of dinosaurs and imaginative play.
• Ensure a safe environment while a small dog is present in the household.

Requirements

• Warm, engaging, and experienced babysitter.
• Comfortable planning and supervising screen‑free activities for young children.
• At ease around a small dog.
• Available Monday, September 21, 1:00 PM–6:00 PM; a few hours on Saturday and/or Sunday for a preliminary meet‑up is a plus.

Pay

$20–$25/hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday, September 21, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Optional meet‑up a few hours on Saturday and/or Sunday to get to know the kids beforehand.
