What You Will Do As An Energetic Assembler
- Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment.
- Regularly handles hazardous and non-hazardous materials as part of the manufacturing process, including solvents, explosives, etc.
- Read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Process Specifications (PS) to operate and setup machinery and related systems.
- Ensure the safe processing of products that meet customer and NDS quality requirements in accordance with time standards for his/her assigned area of production.
- Perform general daily housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and area to ensure a safe working condition for all employees.
- Perform general maintenance of equipment as required.
- Able to recognize and report all operational variances as trained.
- Must display competent dexterity to insure safe handling of explosive devices.
- Weekend overtime may be required.
- Perform minor set-up for specific equipment when required.
- Must be able to wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (safety eyewear, FR coat and pants, conductive shoes and full-face air purifying respirator as required).
What You Need To Qualify As An Energetic Assembler
- Experience in Aerospace, Energetic or Manufacturing Assembly
- 2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
- High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
- Able to walk / stand 80% of the time.
- Able to lift 5 lbs. constantly, 25 lbs. occasionally, and 50 lbs. infrequently.
- Above 50 lbs. with a team lift.
- Ability to understand and speak English, as well as read and write in English.
- Able to accurately read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and packaging.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain an ATF Possessor license.
- Ability to pass a background and drug test.
