Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Deployment Technician to support a large-scale computer refresh project within a clinical hospital setting. You will be responsible for the end-to-end replacement of legacy workstations, ensuring minimal disruption to medical staff and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deployment: Unbox, stage, and install new PCs, laptops, tablets, and peripherals (scanners, printers, etc.) at nursing stations, clinics, and administrative offices.
- Data Migration: Ensure user profiles, local files, and department-specific applications are successfully migrated to new hardware.
- Connectivity: Configure network settings
- Asset Management: Accurately document serial numbers, MAC addresses, and asset tags; securely decommission and wipe legacy hardware per HIPAA standards.
- Troubleshooting:
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years in IT desktop support or hardware deployment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and imaging software (e.g., SCCM or Intune).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and the ability to remain professional in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environment.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for extended shifts.
