About the Role

The Endo Tech (1) is the level of entry for all newly hired novice or experienced endoscopy technicians. It is expected that the Endo Tech (1) will meet performance standards within the three-month probationary period. A Basic Skills Checklist must be completed prior to the three-month evaluation. The Endo Tech (1) performs preventative maintenance, cleaning, high-level disinfection of endoscopes and accessory equipment, and sets up procedure rooms. A Tech (1) may qualify to advance to Tech 2 after 6 months of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and high-level disinfection of endoscopes and accessory equipment
  • Set up procedure rooms

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification/experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1 year of experience working as a Nursing Care Technician, Medical/Surgical Assistant, or Central Service Technician/Clinical Partner
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • CNA certification preferred

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $17.79 - $20.24 per hour depending on experience.
