Location: Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Frisco at PGA Parkway, 7600 Better Wy, Frisco, TX 75033
Schedule
- PRN Days, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Availability for 1-2 days a week between Monday - Friday (preferably Tuesday & Wednesday)
- Primary need is Tuesday and occasionally some Wednesdays
- 4 days of on-call per month
- Must attend a one-week mandatory orientation: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities
- Help with procedures not needing sedation, ensuring patients are informed and answering questions about the process.
- Partner with nurses and doctors during sedation procedures. Use scopes, monitor vital signs, and assist with emergencies like CPR.
- Keep equipment clean and sanitized. Train and oversee others to ensure quality control during gastrointestinal procedures.
- Assist in the recovery room by monitoring and noting patient physiological data. Prepare specimen slides for lab investigation.
- Ensure technicians follow standards. Give feedback and train new technicians.
- Partner with Clinical Nurses in documenting required data during patient admission and discharge in the GI Lab.
- Order supplies, get supervisor approval, and communicate with vendors for timely delivery.
- Monitor equipment, create quality reports. Manage maintenance schedules and installation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certification
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- 1-2 years of recent Endo/GI Tech experience required
- Experience in the endoscopy and pulmonology procedure suite
- Advanced GI and pulmonology experience preferred (such as ERCP, EUS, ION bronchoscopy)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate or willingness to obtain one within 30 days
