Endoscopy RN

About the Role

This position involves providing nursing care for patients undergoing GI and endoscopic procedures, including pre- and post-procedure assessment, sedation administration, and emergency management.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before and after GI/endoscopic procedures
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures
• Manage emergencies following ACLS standards
• Maintain a sterile environment and operate endoscopy equipment
• Document patient care and educate patients and families

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license
• Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and sedation protocols
• Strong patient assessment and emergency management skills
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment
• Excellent communication and educational abilities
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork
