Endoscopy RN - $30-43 per hour

About the role

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Endoscopy for a staff position in El Paso, Texas. The role is ongoing and involves direct clinical patient care, supervision of staff, and support to the CNO for quality, safety, and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per‑shift basis and at the unit level.
• Supervise staff to whom care is delegated.
• Support the CNO to ensure high‑quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and effective resource management.
• Provide high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective total nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control, aiming for optimal patient discharge.
• Coordinate and plan patient care within the prescribed medical regimen.
• Administer all medications safely and timely per hospital policy.
• Perform all Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed during emergencies or disasters.
• Know the hospital’s emergency codes, their purpose and appropriate actions, and adhere to related policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Education: Graduated from a state‑approved or accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Recent acute care experience preferred.
• Certifications: Current licensure/certification/registration to practice as required by state law or policy; CPR and AHA BLS required; AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP as applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire.

Schedule

Rotating shift; Full‑time position.
