Endoscopic Technician - Days Full Time
About the role
This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts. Shift start times may vary between 6:30am - 8am, however there are no weekend shifts in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assists the medical, clinical and clerical staff in the care of the patient by providing high quality technical skills.
- Assists with the admission and discharge of patients from the holding unit, to ensure a safe environment and quality patient care.
- Assists the RN with endoscopic procedures for both adults and pediatric patients in all settings of the hospital and Pavilion.
- Has a complete understanding and knowledge of high-level disinfection.
Requirements
- Required Qualification: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Preferred Qualifications: Gastrointestinal Technician Specialist Certification upon hire, 1 year Endoscopy experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal training program in endoscopy technology.
- Current certification as an Endoscopy Technologist.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization techniques.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
