About the role
TeleMed2U is seeking an experienced, patient-centered Endocrinologist to join our growing virtual specialty care team in a full-time, fully remote capacity. This opportunity allows you to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, longitudinal endocrine care through an innovative telehealth platform while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via video visits to adult patients with endocrine and metabolic conditions, including:
- Diabetes
- Thyroid disorders
- Obesity and weight management
- Metabolic conditions
- Adrenal and pituitary disorders
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), as applicable
- Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR - AdvMD
- Collaborate with other specialists and care team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Maintain compliance with TeleMed2U clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completed fellowship training in Endocrinology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- Active, unrestricted medical license in CA; additional licenses or IMLC a plus
- Open to license expansion
- DEA license in good standing
- Experience or interest in APP supervision/mentoring
- Comfortable providing care in a telehealth environment
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care
