Endocrinology Physician

About the role

Be your own head of the Endocrinology department within one of the largest not-for-profit tertiary referral centers in Alabama. Service area covers 600,000 people within a 75-mile radius. Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, outpatient only with no inpatient or call responsibilities. Practice at one dedicated location with in-house lab and radiology services. Opportunity to precept DO medical school students and Internal Medicine residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Endocrinology department
• Manage a team of healthcare professionals
• Treat patients in an outpatient setting
• Precept DO medical school students and IM residents
• Collaborate with other departments within the hospital

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• Able to obtain and maintain a medical license in Alabama
• Able to sponsor visas

Qualifications

• Experience in endocrinology is preferred
• Strong clinical skills and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
