About the role

St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA is seeking a full‑time Endocrinologist to join a growing department. The physician will join a collaborative team that includes six Diabetes Educators/Nutritionists and on‑site pharmacists, work in a 99% outpatient setting with limited hospital duties and no weekend call, and contribute to a supportive environment that emphasizes a whole‑human, holistic approach and continuous improvement. The center offers robust Diabetes Education programs, including community drop‑in services and joint‑visit partnerships with educators.

Responsibilities

• Provide general adult outpatient endocrinology care with limited inpatient responsibilities.
• Participate in the Certified American Association of Diabetic Educators Program.
• Work alongside embedded Certified Diabetes Educators and Registered Dietitians.
• Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation and order entry.
• Support robust clinical and office operations.
