Seeking an Endoscopy registered nurse manager in our ambulatory surgery center who provides clinical management and expertise over the Pre op and PACU staff to ensure patients receive high-quality, efficient care. You will manage and supervise all Pre op and PACU areas of care, establish and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with your Administrator, and ensure day-to-day operations align with clinical practice standards and center policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sufficient staffing daily by notifying your team of scheduling changes.
• Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of nursing care provided.
• Be accessible to your staff by providing breaks, ensuring coverage for meal breaks, late cases, and staffing shortages.
• Monitor your clinical area to ensure materials are provided.
• Facilitate effective and efficient transitions between surgical procedures.
• Delegate, coach, mentor, and handle conflict resolution with your team.
• Build trust and gain the respect of your team through effective leadership.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (Higher degree in Nursing preferred).
• 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery.
• Active RN license as required by state of employment.
• BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• PALS if required by facility within 30 days of hire.

About the Facility

Lakeview Endoscopy Center is located on the campus of Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah. We offer outpatient surgical services in Gastroenterology using some of the most advanced equipment and technology. The center has two procedure rooms, one consultation room, and ten private pre- and post-operative areas.
