END Tech PRN
Job Summary
The END Technician assumes responsibility for providing clinical diagnostic testing services to patients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric. He/she adheres to policy and procedure in the assessment, implementation, and reporting of the diagnostic services provided. The technician must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide Neurodiagnostic services.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completion of electroneurodiagnostic training program thru AMA accredited school, or six months on the job training/experience/externship
- Current CPR certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registry or registry eligible in END Technology (REEGT), RPSGT preferred but not required
- Prefer 6 months to 1-year experience of electroneurodiagnostics or related field
- Will consider recent graduate from END course
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic computer skills required
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
