End of Oven QA-New Line

About the role

Responsible for checking product quality as it comes out of the oven, including appearance, weight, temperature, and other required specifications. Ensures products meet food safety and quality standards and reports any issues to the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to work flexible schedules and work in other departments including weekends and holidays
• Ability to set up machines, conduct basic troubleshooting, loading, films, settings, monitors to assure all is running efficiently
• Ability to work in a standing position for entire shift including climbing steps and ladders
• Monitors and assists with equipment upstream/downstream to ensure continuous operation
• Follow packaging schedule, quality control and sanitation procedures concerning, weights, packs, descriptions, dates, cleanup and changeovers
• Maintain and exceed production, quality and safety standards
• Ability to clean machines and work area properly during and after production runs or changeovers
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
• Observe all plant safety, GMP and allergen procedures and attend appropriate training sessions
• Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements
• Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your supervisor
• Responsible for partnering with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas
• Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 7:00AM-3:00PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00PM-11:00PM

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to climb steps and ladders
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly

Qualifications

• Education: No specific educational requirements
• Experience: Previous experience operating and maintaining production equipment and ensuring efficient operation of the production line is required

Pay

$17.25-$18.00 Hourly
