Encompass Data Engineer

About the Role

Heitmeyer Consulting is hiring multiple Encompass Data Engineers to support a client’s mortgage lending platform initiative. This role focuses on the migration to Encompass and the continued development of the client’s enterprise Snowflake data layer. The ideal candidate will combine strong data engineering capabilities with Encompass experience and collaborate closely with platform engineers, business systems analysts, configuration analysts, reporting teams, and other technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with Encompass data schema and data flows.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools like SQL, Informatica, or other data build tools.
• Build and optimize data integrations between Encompass and other platforms.
• Design and implement reporting and dashboards.
• Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and quality control.
• Translate complex source-system data structures into reliable downstream data solutions.
• Support enterprise reporting, regulatory reporting, and data-integration requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working with Encompass data schema and data flows.
• Strong experience with ETL tools such as SQL, Informatica, or other data build tools.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Experience building reporting, dashboards, and data integrations involving Encompass.
• Proficiency in data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and quality controls.
• Ability to analyze complex source-system data structures and translate them into downstream solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise or regulatory reporting and data-integration requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
