EMT Skills Instructor - Lab Assistant

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of active field experience as a certified EMT or licensed Paramedic
• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate
• Current and valid California Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification or Paramedic License (applicants must submit a copy)
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Provider Card (applicants must submit a copy)
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility, and stamina to bend, kneel, stoop, stand for extended periods, and lift or move lab equipment and manikins weighing up to 40-50 pounds
