EMT Paramedic - PRN

About the role

Department: Emergency Services. Shift’s Available: Mid Shift. Employment Type: Per Diem (As needed). Hours: 12-hour shifts, 9:00am-9:00pm. Location: Harlingen Medical Center - Harlingen, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide basic management of medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under the supervision of the staff nurse and/or physician.
• Assist with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the ER Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• Basic EMT-P Registry Required
• ER experience preferred
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• CPI within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current
• PALS certification upon hire and maintain current
