About the role

AS A EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN, you'll perform duties associated with providing rescue services and emergency medical care to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Clearfield EMS policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties associated with providing rescue services and emergency medical care to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Clearfield EMS policies.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must have and maintain current state emergency medical technician and/or paramedic certification (license, if applicable).
• Must have one year of experience in the field of rescue and emergency medical services.
• Must possess basic working knowledge of an IBM-compatible computer and be able to enter necessary data into a computer.
• Must possess and maintain: Valid Driver's license, State EMT or Paramedic certification (license, if applicable), American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer and/or American Heart Association BCLS certification, EVOC/EVDT certification, Hazardous Materials Operations, PALS, ACLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• One year of experience in the field of rescue and emergency medical services.
