EMT Basic (Part-Time) - Located in Evansville, IN

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine necessary care.
• Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other public safety personnel.
• Provide care using appropriate EMT skills, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, and office equipment.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel.

Requirements

• Valid EMT certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• National EMT certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• CPR/BLS certifications.
• Compliant driving record.
• Pass a physical agility test.
• Some work experience in healthcare preferred.

Qualifications

• State Driver’s License.
