Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and determine necessary care.
- Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Create a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Utilize EMT skills such as communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
- Operate an ambulance according to company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
Other Responsibilities
- Engage in community programs to enhance the organization's image and foster strong community relationships.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State Driver’s License.
- National or State EMT certification.
- CPR/BLS certifications.
- Driving record compliant with company policy.
- Pass Physical Agility Test.
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.
