Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
- Maintain confidentiality and patient rights during patient documentation.
- Operate an ambulance safely and efficiently according to company policies and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with patients, other healthcare professionals, and public safety personnel.
- Use appropriate medical equipment and follow cleaning procedures.
- Utilize office equipment and tools as needed.
- Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Missouri EMT certification and willingness to obtain Kansas EMT certification.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- CPR certification.
- NREMT certification preferred.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- Pass a Physical Ability Test (PAT).
