EMT Basic

Responsibilities

• Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• CA State EMT License.
• CA State Driver’s License.
• BLS CPR Certification card.
• CA Ambulance Driver's License.
• Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• 1 year of EMT experience.
• IS100, 200, 700 and 800 FEMA Certificates (will be verified if given a conditional verbal offer).
• Pass Physical Agility Test (PAT).
