EMT Basic
Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
- Maintain confidentiality and patient rights while documenting patient information, condition, and treatment.
- Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
Other Responsibilities
- Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Kansas EMT Certification or Kansas Eligible.
- CPR certification.
- NREMT certification preferred.
- State Driver’s License.
- Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
Pay
$37,755.20 / year depending on experience.
