EMT Basic

Responsibilities

• Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Driver’s License.
• State EMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
• Some work experience in healthcare is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

Benefits

Referral Bonus: Employees will receive $5k for referring a Full-Time Paramedic or $2.5k for a Part-Time Paramedic (terms and conditions apply).

Pay

Starting pay is $20.05 /hr. and up, based on years of experience.

Schedule

Referral of a Full-Time hire must work a minimum of 36 hours a week. Referral of a Part-Time hire must work 2 shifts per week.
