About the role
This is a full-time position working on REMSA Health's inter-facility transfer unit. Candidates must be able to work any shift (days, nights, weekends, and holidays).
Responsibilities
- Work any shift including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Full-time schedule is 4-day, 10-hour shifts.
- Opportunity to apply for scholarship opportunities after four months to be trained as an Advanced EMT.
- Eligible to apply for REMSA Health Paramedic scholarships after one year of employment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Nationally Registered EMT and the ability to obtain State of Nevada certification upon accepting an offer.
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required.
- Valid Driver’s license, with no major citations on your driving record.
- Ability to obtain a Nevada Ambulance Attendant license upon hire.
- Maintain excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Maintain a positive working attitude.
- Self-starter requiring little oversight.
- Adaptable to change and able to function in a team-based management structure.
Schedule
We have moved our shift configuration away from standard 12-hour shifts to a 4 day/10-hour schedule.
