Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and determine necessary care.
- Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Create a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Utilize EMT skills for care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
- Operate an ambulance according to company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Collaborate and work professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- A valid state driver’s license.
- National and/or State EMT certification.
- CPR/BLS certifications.
- A driving record compliant with company policy.
- Pass a physical agility test.
- Some work experience in healthcare, preferably.
