Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
- Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with patients, allied health professionals, and public safety personnel.
- Use appropriate medical equipment and cleaning procedures.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with colleagues and other emergency responders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State EMT License.
- State Driver’s License.
- BLS certification.
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification.
- Passing driving record.
- Pass physical agility test.
- Some work experience in healthcare preferred.
Qualifications
- Related experience in healthcare.
