EMT

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine necessary care.
• Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Create a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
• Operate an ambulance according to company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities

• Engage in community programs to enhance the company's image and foster strong community relationships.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• A valid state driver’s license.
• National and/or State EMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications.
• A driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass a physical agility test.
• Some work experience in healthcare, preferably.
