Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Create a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency medical response vehicle operations.
• Collaborate and professionally interact with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities

• Engage in community programs to enhance Lifeguard Ambulance Service's reputation and foster strong community relationships.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Driver’s License
• National or State AEMT certification
• CPR/BLS certifications
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
