Employment & Training Support Professional 2

Summary

Provides orientation, training, and supervision of workers with disabilities, working alongside individuals with disabilities in a worksite or community-based employer. Implements employment plans designed to maximize worker progress and assures job is performed to specifications.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or Hi-SET plus 1 year related experience and/or training.
• One year of human service experience desired.
• Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.
• Experience working with OPWDD Day Habilitation and employment programs preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email and internet essential.
• Valid driver’s license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle with compulsory auto insurance and vehicle registration, and willingness to transport program members in personal and/or agency vehicle.
• Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, and community organizations.
