Employment Training Specialist (PRN)

Responsibilities

• Identify individual interests and skills to facilitate a job/career of choice.
• Use functional community-based assessments to identify workplace supports for individuals with disabilities.
• Negotiate customized jobs for individuals with disabilities.
• Engage with employers to address concerns about hiring and supervising people with disabilities.
• Collect and analyze performance data to assess the effectiveness of workplace supports.
• Modify or develop new workplace supports as needed.
• Develop and maintain natural supports in the workplace.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
• A valid non-provisional driver's license.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• Show empathy and have a team approach to care for individuals.

Pay

Starting at $20.92 and increases with education/experience.
