Employment Specialist - PT

About the role

RISE is an innovative human services network established in 1987 to move individuals from institutional settings into family homes. Services now support children, adults, and families with various needs across multiple states. We seek a Job Coach or Employment Specialist to assist individuals with disabilities in securing and maintaining competitive employment.

Responsibilities

• Work with Vocational Rehabilitation and other state entities to find and maintain employment for individuals with disabilities.
• Help individuals with disabilities achieve independence and improve their quality of life.

Requirements

• Experience and/or education in developmental disabilities or related fields preferred.
• Experience in sales and/or marketing is a plus.
• A desire and interest in working with people with disabilities or special needs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Criminal background screening must be passed.
• A reliable personal vehicle is needed for transporting individuals.
• Acceptable Driving Record and current auto insurance meeting RISE’s insurance policy requirements are necessary.
