Responsibilities

• Conduct job development and job search activities
• Aid in employability skill development
• Assist in interview and resume preparation
• Help clients obtain employment
• Provide individualized support
• Maintain employment status for clients
• Offer benefits counseling with assistance from a benefits counselor
• Provide education to family members and employers
• Negotiate job accommodations when needed
• Collaborate with team members to achieve employment outcomes
• Explore schooling options
• Advocate with school officials and teachers
• Provide liaison support as needed

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Essential to achieve employment outcomes
• Valid unrestricted driver's license

Qualifications and Attributes

• BS/BA degree in mental health, social services, or business
• Experience working with people with serious mental illness preferred
• Experience providing employment services preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

Access offers a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour, Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Comprehensive benefits are available.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week

Physical Characteristics

• Capable of sitting or standing in front of a computer for long periods
• Able to work in an open space floor plan
• Capable of moving throughout the workday and following individuals in the community
• Capable of working alongside coworkers within 3 feet
• Capable of moving in tight spaces
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
