Employment Specialist/Job Coach

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist/Job Coach to provide one-on-one support, coaching, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in integrated community work settings. In this role, you will assist individuals in exploring career interests, securing employment, and developing the skills needed to maintain long-term success at work.

Responsibilities

• Empower individuals to obtain meaningful employment
• Enhance job skills by monitoring progress through documentation
• Educate employers on the benefits and opportunities of employing people with disabilities
• Advocate for inclusion on the job and reasonable accommodations for the individual
• Make an impact on the community

Compensation & Schedule

Pay starting at $18/hr., with weekly pay

• Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)

We are hiring Employment Specialist/Job Coaches in the following areas:

• South Charlotte
• North Charlotte (Kannapolis area)

Qualifications

• One year experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Flexible availability
