Evaluations and Progress Monitoring
- Evaluates skills and qualifications
- Advise on career paths
- Promote employment opportunities
- Maintain ongoing relationship with each business contact
- Monitor, document, and evaluate the progress of clients
Crisis Intervention and Referrals
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary
- Facilitate the transition of appropriate referrals
- Ensure adequate assessment of individuals
- Communicate regularly with Employment department representatives
Job Retention and Advancement
- Work with individuals on job retention and advancement
Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Help develop motivation, skills, and de-escalation tactics
Document Management
- Write ISP's, Monthly reports, SalesForce and HCSIS documents for the employment program
- Keep case files (hard copy and electronic) up to date
Other Duties
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Exercise independent professional judgment and strong decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills with critical conflict resolution skills and de-escalation techniques
- Provide on-call assistance to individuals
- Strong organizational skills
Education and Experience
- Associates Degree
- Experience with persons with disabilities
Physical Requirements
- Navigate public transportation
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
