In this role, you will help individuals with disabilities find, secure, and maintain competitive employment within their communities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses and employers.
  • Identify employment opportunities that align with each individual's skills, interests, and goals.
  • Coordinate job placement activities and assist with the hiring process.
  • Provide training, job coaching, and ongoing support to individuals in community-based employment settings.
  • Monitor progress and collaborate with employers to ensure successful employment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and service records.
  • Work with families, case managers, and support teams to promote individual success.
  • Advocate for inclusion, independence, and meaningful employment opportunities.

Requirements

  • A compassionate individual who enjoys helping others succeed.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in human services, vocational rehabilitation, employment services, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in a related field is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Experience in job coaching, training, and employee development, with the ability to support individuals in achieving and maintaining successful employment outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with individuals, employers, families, and community partners.
  • Experience completing reports, documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills to help identify and develop employment opportunities.
  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs.
  • A commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving their employment goals.

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Occasional Evenings & Weekends
