About the role
The Employment Specialist is responsible for assisting clients in finding employment opportunities that align with their skills and preferences. This includes conducting initial assessments, providing career counseling, and facilitating job placement services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments to understand client needs and goals
- Provide career counseling and guidance
- Facilitate job placement services including resume writing, interview preparation, and networking opportunities
- Stay updated on industry trends and job market conditions
- Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and progress
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in employment services or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
