About the role

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP is seeking an Employment Partner to join its Greenville office. This is an opportunity to join a nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice representing employers across a broad range of workplace matters. The ideal candidate will have a sophisticated employment practice, strong client relationships, and a demonstrated ability to provide practical, business-focused counsel to employers.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including employment litigation, workplace investigations, restrictive covenant disputes, employee discipline and termination issues, wage and hour compliance, and day-to-day counseling
• Advise clients on complex employment issues
• Maintain and expand client relationships
• Contribute to the continued growth of the firm's Labor & Employment practice

Requirements

• Significant experience representing employers in labor and employment matters, including litigation, counseling, and compliance issues
• Established and portable book of business and a proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent advocacy, communication, and drafting skills
• Admitted and in good standing in South Carolina or eligible for admission
