Employment Litigation Of Counsel
Our Portland office is seeking an attorney with 10+ years of experience in employment litigation to join our growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in litigation, working directly with client representatives and opposing counsel. The successful candidate will handle litigation matters largely independently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research
- Draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings
- Attend court conferences
- Manage discovery-related activities and investigations
- Prepare position statements and dispositive motions
Requirements
- Juris Doctor
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Oregon (or licensed in another state with strong interest in relocating to the Pacific Northwest)
- Must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice during employment
- 10+ years of employment litigation experience, either in-house or at a law firm
- Excellent analytical and writing skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
