Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side employment litigation matters.
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other substantive legal filings.
- Conduct and defend depositions, including third party and witness depositions.
- Handle all phases of written discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal as necessary.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage cases.
- Communicate with clients and provide regular updates regarding case status and strategy.
- Mentor junior attorneys and support staff, as appropriate.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Oregon.
- Admission in Washington is a plus.
- 4+ years of employment litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff side.
- Experience handling Wage & Hour Class Actions and employment litigation under Oregon employment laws (ORS Chapter 659A, BOLI, FLSA), or similar state and federal employment statutes.
- Strong litigation skills, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, and mediation.
- Trial experience or substantial trial preparation experience is highly preferred.

Pay
Compensation range based on experience: $140,000k - $200,000k annually.
