NextOp’s Employment Coordinator will deliver veteran and corporate partner programming, administering interaction with veteran candidates by preparing them for a successful transition into civilian careers.
Responsibilities
- Corporate Partner Relationship Coordination
- Advocate for veteran hiring to corporate partners and key decision-makers.
- Support the retention and growth of long-term partnerships with companies committed to hiring veterans.
- Collaborate with partners to facilitate veteran placement within their organizations.
- Veteran Assessment & Career Placement
- Manage a personal caseload of veteran candidates, ensuring full-cycle support including intake, resume development, candidate coaching, and job placement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners to stay informed on current and upcoming job opportunities.
- Consistently source job leads and share them with the EMP team via NextOp’s CRM tools and processes.
- Provide timely, responsive, and high-quality service to veteran candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the transition process.
- Guide candidates on industry training, certifications, interview skills, and networking strategies.
- Help veterans manage expectations and set realistic, aligned career goals.
- Partner with local, regional, and national organizations to promote available programs and make informed referrals.
- Accurately document all candidate interactions and outcomes in real time using CRM systems and processes.
- Lead and support veteran career transition workshops and programming.
- Assist with events such as hiring fairs, training seminars, and military base outreach efforts.
- Stay informed about relevant industries and regional job markets, sharing updates with the Programs Team.
- Work closely with the Programs Marketing Coordinator and EMP leadership to communicate candidate success stories and feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR four (4) years of relevant military work experience required.
- Experience in organizing and coordinating events preferred.
- Experience working with military rank structure, protocols, and culture preferred.
- Valid United States driver’s license required.

- Strong initiative and ability to multi-task under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; able to collaborate with a range of personalities and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with military rank structures, culture, and separation processes is preferred.
- Comfortable working independently and being managed remotely.
- Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and enhancing user and customer experiences.

Pay
$60k–$67K annually.
