As an Employment Consultant, you will walk alongside individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they take the next step toward independence and competitive, integrated employment.This is not an office job. It is a community-based role where every day looks different. You will meet with employers, support individuals on the job, advocate for opportunities, and celebrate real success in real time. What You Will Do• Help individuals explore career options and set goals• Connect job seekers with employers in their community• Provide job coaching and workplace support• Build strong relationships with businesses in: - St. Joseph County - Marshall County• Promote independence, skill-building, and long-term success• Work closely with families, guardians, and referral partners• Represent MSDC’s mission of empowerment and choice What Makes This Role Unique • Very little office time.
