Employment Attorney - Austin & Dallas | Up to $225K

Location: Austin, TX / Dallas, TX Work arrangement: On-site - This role requires 4 days in-office, with hybrid flexibility after ramp-up to approximately 3 days per week. Compensation: $180K - $225K base Experience: 7+ years Bar admission: Active admission in any US state About The Opportunity This is a Counsel-level opportunity for an Employment Attorney to join a thriving boutique firm, advising startups, venture-backed companies, and M&A clients. The position offers significant autonomy, direct client engagement, and a supportive culture. What You'll Do Serve as primary or supporting counsel on complex employment matters.Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements and restrictive covenants.Advise clients on multi-state workforce compliance obligations.Manage a client portfolio directly, delivering proactive legal advice.Conduct employment law diligence for acquisitions and financings. What You Bring (required) Experience practicing employment law at a law firm.Active bar admission in any US state.Strong command of employment law in the M&A context.Ability to work independently and manage a client portfolio.Experience advising on M&A employee transitions.
