Employment Associate Attorney

Responsibilities
- Represent employees in wage and hour class actions and PAGA matters, including claims involving unpaid overtime, meal and rest breaks, and unreimbursed business expenses
- Draft and argue motions and other substantive pleadings
- Take and defend depositions
- Participate in case strategy and client advocacy
- Appear in court and actively litigate matters
- Work on complex cases involving regional, national, and Fortune 500 employers
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing (or awaiting admission)
- 1-5 years of experience in employment law, wage and hour, class action, or PAGA matters preferred
- (Recently barred attorneys with relevant internships or clerkships are encouraged to apply)
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle increasing responsibility
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $125,000 - $190,000 annually, commensurate with experience
