Employment and Education Specialist - Elliot House Clubhouse

About the role

Elliot House is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our Clubhouse community. Elliot House is a Clubhouse International accredited Clubhouse and plays an active role in the Massachusetts Clubhouse Coalition. This full-time position involves serving as a liaison and spokesperson with area businesses and state employment agencies, and co-coordinating the Clubhouse employment component.

Responsibilities

• Engage members in unit work
• Develop new job placements and maintain existing job placements
• Provide outreach and support services for members working in job placements
• Initiate and maintain employer contacts
• Attend Advisory Board and Chamber of Commerce meetings
• Track employment-related statistics
• Co-lead employment support meetings
• Participate in evening, weekend, and holiday social programs

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays required.

Pay

$23.17 per hour.
