Employee Transport Driver (Part Time) Iowa Falls, IA

About the role

The Employee Transportation Driver will transport employees to and from job sites and other locations in a professional, safe, and timely manner. Flexible availability is required, including early and afternoon routes, evening, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-owned passenger van or vehicle while adhering to all Iowa DMV, state, and federal laws.
• Maintain consistent reliable pick-up and drop-off routes to and from job sites and other locations.
• Transport employees to and from the Social Security office, Drivers’ License station, grocery/retail stores, and other specified locations.
• Pick up, deliver, and organize supplies from the warehouse to housing units.
• Build, assemble, and disassemble furniture and other items moved in and out of housing locations.
• Ensure housing units are thoroughly cleaned and reset between employee groups.
• Provide on-call deliveries and assist with route assistance as needed.
• Follow the transportation schedule as assigned by the supervisor.
• Report any necessary repairs or special maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Adhere to Iowa Select Farms bio-security and animal wellbeing policies.
• Comply with Iowa Select Farms safety policies and procedures.
• Work flexible hours, including day shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluency in both written and verbal communication is preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and lift up to 10 pounds frequently.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Ability to continuously repeat necessary movements such as bending, lifting, and different hand movements.
• Basic mobile phone and email skills to stay current on communication and schedules.
