Employee Safety Specialist

Responsibilities
- Collect, understand, organize and share safety data at respective site(s)
- Develop interventions addressing employee safety opportunities in partnership with site leadership and HR
- Co-facilitate system Employee Safety initiatives and ensure implementation of recommendations at local sites
- Ensure accountability through the CEO
- Work in partnership with hospital and medical staff leadership in developing, measuring, and overseeing comprehensive employee safety programs, including performance improvement interventions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental or related field required
- 3-5 years experience of employee or occupational/safety/clinical/quality experience
- Experience in delivering educational programs is an asset
- Knowledgeable of MIOSHA and OSHA laws
