About the role
The Employee Relations Manager position requires an individual who has significant employee relations experience, deep subject matter expertise, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations issues, including investigations and conflict resolution
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve workplace relations
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters
- Conduct training sessions on topics such as diversity, inclusion, and workplace harassment prevention
- Collaborate with HR teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Support initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in employee relations, preferably within a large organization
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues and conflicts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with HRIS systems and other relevant software tools
Qualifications
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations applicable to the UK and Ireland
- Experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills

Pay
Salary range: £40,000 - £60,000 per year
